Healthy Life Happy Life’ campaign concludes in Dammam


Dammam: A Two weeks long health campaign ‘Healthy Life Happy Life’ by India Fraternity Forum (IFF) concluded with Health Seminar for women at Rose Restaurant Auditorium in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.


Dr. Abida Tabassum, Gynecologist, Dar Al Siha Medical Center, presented an awareness talk about Women’s Health. She shed light on different health decease related to woman. This was followed by a question & answer session where most of the ladies who participated in a large number grabbed the opportunity by clearing their doubts & queries.
Executive Council Member of IFF Women’s wing-Kerala Chapter and Chief Guest for the program, Mrs. Tasneem Suneer gave a brief talk about how we should lead a healthy life style by quoting some example and verses from the Quran.

IFF Holds Health Seminars in Damman

Dammam, Jun 13: India Fraternity Forum organized a health seminar for men and women as part of a two-week-long health campaign 'Healthy Life Happy Life' in Khobar at Rafa Medical Center Auditorium and in Jubail at Cookxon Auditorium.
Three health seminars were conducted on the same day, two for men in Khobar and Jubail and one for women in Jubail.

Dr Prashanth, general practioner, Khobar and Dr G Shivarudrappa focused on different aspects like hypertension, diabetics, cholesterol and heart attack in Khobar and jubail respectively. Both of them provided information and instructions to keep the oneself free from diseases. There was a question and answer session in which both doctors answered all questions from the audience.

Women IFF Volunteers serves Indian Pilgrims


Jeddah, Nov 9: Hajj Volunteer Service is a three month process for India Fraternity Forum (IFF) every Hajj season. IFF service starts with the distribution of 'Hajj Handbook', which is handed out in six major Indian languages to the pilgrims before they leave for Hajj from the home country.


Here in Saudi Arabia the volunteers start their assistance with the arrival of the first flight in Jeddah, Madeena and Makkah as well.

In Makkah pilgrims are helped to reach their accommodation. The Inspirational experience of serving people during Hajj has increased the number of volunteers participating in the service.
IFF had to limit the number of volunteers due to constraints in accommodating them, this year 1050 volunteers served the purpose.

Volunteers were Indian expatriate from eleven states speaking major Indian languages. They include 100 volunteers from Dammam, 250 from Riyadh and 700 from Abha and Jeddah.

IFF -"HEALTHY WOMAN HEALTHY FAMILY”


Dubai: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF), a U.A.E based social welfare association, organized a seminar exclusively for women at the GulfMedical University auditorium (Ajman) on Friday, May 20, 2011.

The program started with the recitation from Holy Qur’an and was followed by the welcome address.  Later on a presentation was made about the EIFF and its activities undertaken in the past, such as conducting Blood Donation Camps, Get-Well Soon Programs, Environment Day Campaign, etc.

Dr. Wajiha Ajmal, Gynecologist fromGMC Hospital, delivered a speech followed by a Power Point Presentation. She covered major topics like ‘Breast Cancer’ and other Gynaecology related issues. This session was followed by Question & Answer and she managed to cleared lot of doubts raised by the participants.
