IFF -"HEALTHY WOMAN HEALTHY FAMILY”

Dubai: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF), a U.A.E based social welfare association, organized a seminar exclusively for women at the GulfMedical University auditorium (Ajman) on Friday, May 20, 2011.

The program started with the recitation from Holy Qur’an and was followed by the welcome address.  Later on a presentation was made about the EIFF and its activities undertaken in the past, such as conducting Blood Donation Camps, Get-Well Soon Programs, Environment Day Campaign, etc.

Dr. Wajiha Ajmal, Gynecologist fromGMC Hospital, delivered a speech followed by a Power Point Presentation. She covered major topics like ‘Breast Cancer’ and other Gynaecology related issues. This session was followed by Question & Answer and she managed to cleared lot of doubts raised by the participants.

Dr. Sabeen Musarrat, General Practitioner from GMC Hospital, conducted individual counseling for ladies and there was Free Blood pressure check for all the participants. She was also accompanied by two female nurses.

Souvenirs were presented to both the Doctors. The event was well managed and organized by the EIFF volunteers. The seminar was attended by more than 140 women.

Special entertainment arrangements were organized for the children and men, which was enjoyed by one and all.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks. Every participant was given Free Gifts while leaving the auditorium.
